and .223 cartridges specifically designed for the unique demands of the law enforcement sniper.The .308 Hostage Rescue Cartridge (or H.R.C.) encompasses a 168 grain match grade fragmentation bullet designed to give the utmost in accuracy while penetrating just 10" to 12" of 10% ballistic gelatin The .223 64 grain H.R.C. is designed to be used in a 1 in 7 twist barrel. The .223 55 grain H.R.C. is designed to be used in a 1 in 9 twist barrel. Both .223 rounds produce a 4 1/2" wound cavity, while penetrating just 6"to 7" of ballistic gelatin.
